Based in Toronto, Rosanne Baker Thornley is an internationally recognized, award-winning singer/ songwriter who writes with an impressive and growing number of international emerging and established artists. RBT has been evolving and expanding her relationship with music (and writing) for quite some time. With her new album, Sorry I'm Late, to be released September 2022, she further delves into her craft, cultivating songs from an intensely personal space.
Like all the songs on Sorry I'm Late, new single "Because of Me," is inspired by personal experience. This song is about someone who always arrived tangled, who willingly succumbed to a vulnerable version of themselves, and who left less tangled.
It's about changing that someone to their benefit and how those changes in them, while to the betterment of others in their life, challenges those same people. It's about the realization and the risk to the person who is the impetus to their changing – and to the realization they're working against themselves. That every heartfelt moment shared can't change the inevitable outcome.
Gothenburg-based artist Sarah Klang returns with a lush new single ‘Belly Shots’ and a full Scandinavian tour. The release follows Klang’s third album ‘Virgo’ (May 2021) which recently saw Klang win her second Swedish Grammy, this time in the ‘Best Alternative Pop’ category, and her UK tour earlier this year which included a sold-out Bush Hall, London show.
Klang’s vintage alt-pop is born out of a love of a good old-fashioned ballad, blended with classic ‘60s and ‘70s pop influences, Americana-tinged guitars, country music’s luxurious hues - most mesmerising in her distinctive whispery twang - and an indefinable helping of Scandi charm.
Pouring her life experiences into every line of her songs, from heartbreak to motherhood, Klang says of new single “Belly Shots is about leaving your 20’s behind. A very much overrated time in your life, it turned out.”
The Minks are set to release their newest single, Take It Easy, on May 27th, 2022. This new song was recorded live by John Meehan in a cabin in the woods during the fall of 2021. It was recorded in a mobile studio that John built called Sundial Sound. It will be on a compilation being released in the summer under that same name.
It features many other Nashville artists such as Chrome Pony, Hans Condor, and Bee Taylor. 10% of the profits from the compilation will go to Nashville’s W.O. Smith school, which gives music instruction and instruments to children from low-income families. Take It Easy was written about finding some peace amongst the chaos. It’s a breath of fresh air that takes you on a psychedelic trip to better days.
Accompanying the release is a music video that was directed, filmed, and edited by The Minks themselves. It’s a surrealistic, hazy moving picture of silly moments on a sunny day out in the woods of Ashland City.
Hunter Moreau believes everyone should strive to be more in touch with the vulnerable parts of themselves. And Hunter Moreau practices what she preaches.
Through her music, the soulful pop songstress frequently steps outside of her comfort zone to express the most vulnerable parts of herself, captivating listeners along the way.
Her newest single, "Hazy," is no exception. Produced by Doug Schadt (Maggie Rogers, Ashe, SHAED), "Hazy" officially dropped on March 12.
"As simple as it may sound, 'Hazy' is about the pure bliss of summer nights," shares Hunter. "Doug and I were reminiscing about stories with friends, both new and old, and the magic that seems to happen on warm nights where nothing seems to really matter. We wrote this song to capture the nostalgia of looking back on those carefree times, and longing for that same feeling again. The feeling that no other moment matters besides right now. The excitement of not caring how exactly you’re going to get home, or where you even are, but just knowing that you want whatever feeling this is to last forever."
Born and raised in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts (population 6,000) – a seaside town near Cape Cod - Hunter began taking voice lessons at eight years old. Though Mattapoisett is both small and distinctly quaint, she will tell you that her hometown has fueled her love for music in a myriad of ways.
Two weeks after the release of their first single "The Huntress Obeyed", the band Laddermen (CH/US) delivers the accompanying video clip.
"The Huntress Obeyed" is a spherical post-punk song about cocaine addiction in Austin, Texas and the dark side of the excessive party scene there.
The video presents this topic very powerful and with strong visuals. The focus is on two dancers who express the allure and tragedy of the relationship between a person and addiction.
Laddermen will release their debut album later this year. Their haunting songwriting and deep dramaturgy, for which they draw inspiration from English bands, should splash the indie scene with another palette of colour.
Gothenburg’s Sarah Klang, the self-declared “saddest girl in Sweden,” returns to form with the lush, melancholy of new single ‘Anywhere’, a song she describes as “about the constant search for happiness or at least peace or answers within yourself. How I long to feel better.” Warm Americana-tinged guitar reverberates with Klang’s incredible country-hued vocal diving straight to your heart.
‘Anywhere’ is the fourth single to be taken from the Swedish Grammy winning artist’s forthcoming album ‘Virgo’ (following 7th May, Pangur Records) and proceeds the “galloping country-rock” (The Line of Best Fit) of ‘Canyon’, the soulful smokiness of ‘Girls,’ and most recently ‘Fever Dream’ accompanied by the “sexy” Fredrika Eriksson directed video which premiered on i-D.
Sarah Klang has previously released two albums, her debut album ‘Love In The Milky Way’ (2018) which won ‘Best Album’ at the Swedish Grammys and topped the charts and ‘Creamy Blue’ (2019) which was also nominated at the Grammys in both the ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Alternative Pop’ categories, as well as receiving a nomination for ‘European Album of the Year’ at the IMPALA Award.
Klang’s fun, exuberant live shows have seen her achieve sold-out headline tours in Scandinavia and mainland Europe, a sold-out show at The Lexington, London in 2019, and an arena tour in support of First Aid Kit.
‘Anywhere’ was recorded in Gothenburg, produced by Kevin Andersson, and mastered by Magnus Lindberg. It is released a digital single today, with the long-player ‘Virgo’ following 7th May via Pangur Records.
New Zealand's Miss June have shared some spirited rock with bags of hooks, I am tempted to suggest it's literal garage rock, check the video to see where I'm coming from on that.
'New Day Coming' by Sarah Klang is a melodic and catchy piece, her vocals are beautiful and the subtle Americana hints add even more.
Gabi Hartmann has shared 'Always Seem To Get Things Wrong' a charming ballad where both the Parisian's vocals and refined musical arrangement exude a sentimental and timeless feeling.
We have already featured Grace Acladna twice this year and her new song 'Apnea' is another imaginative and simply addictive track, her vocals sweeping above a cleverly constructed soundtrack, this is hard to ignore.
Deanna Petcoff also makes her third appearance on Beehive Candy, this time with 'Stage Light' a robust indie rocker that mixes melodic hooks with some simmering energy.

Miss June - Best Girl.
The latest export from New Zealand is coming to us by way of Auckland band Miss June. Described as “some unholy union between Sonic Youth and Le Tigre,” the four piece harness jagged, noisy guitars filtered through the unrivalled stage presence of front-person Annabel Liddel, guitarist Jun Park, bass player Chris Marshall and drummer Tom Leggett.
The band share their newest single “Best Girl” which Liddel notes, “is an anthem for anyone who has been misled from birth, into battle for a spot that doesn’t exist.”
Miss June have also announced their signing to NYC’s Frenchkiss Records and on June 10th the label will release a double a-side 7” consisting of today’s single "Best Girl" and the previously released and equally brilliant “Twitch.”
The band has built a reputation for fierce, formidable and head-spinning live shows which have caught the attention of acts like The Foo Fighters, Shellac, Wolf Alice, Idles and Die! Die! Die!, who have all eagerly harnessed their support on stage. Next month will see them bring this party to UK and US for shows in London, New York City and Los Angeles.
Combining elements of post-punk, no-wave and rock, Miss June hold close their DIY roots while creating a blistering, reckless sound full of melodic hooks and overdriven riffs that are at once immediately recognizable and yet entirely their own.
Sarah Klang is a 26 year old singer songwriter who hails from Sweden’s second largest city, Gothenburg. Since 2016 she has been releasing what she describes as pop songs laced with country and Americana influences, her Swedish Grammy winning debut album went to number 1 in Sweden.
Whilst working as a waitress she made the decision to start writing her own songs, using her love and the long history of classic love songs as her starting point. Using her heart meltingly beautiful yet grandiose voice she has managed to write the kind of songs that have charmed Scandinavian and European audiences alike.
With a batch of self penned songs that showcased a dreamy melancholy and an unbelievable stage presence she created a vintage soundscape that has wowed audiences alike in underground clubs, three sold out nights at Stockholm’s Södra Teatern, a sell-out Scandinavian tour, a sold out Gothenburg Concert Hall and an arena tour with First Aid Kit.
This spring has seen two single releases, "Call Me" and "Endless Sadness", with a third addition - "New Day Coming" - out now on all streaming platforms!
Always Seem To Get Things Wrong", a classic ballad, is the first single by Parisian singer Gabi Hartmann, produced and written by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Jesse Harris (with new French lyrics by Gabi) and recorded in Rio de Janeiro with legendary Brazilian musicians Dadi (Marisa Monte, Jorge Ben, Novos Baianos) and Marcelo Costa (Caetano Velsoso, Tribalistas). Harris is known for his work with Norah Jones, Melody Gardot, Madeleine Peyroux, Petra Haden, and many others.
Key lyric quotes: "I thought that I would kiss your lips, but the sky went dark and the moon eclipsed, and what I missed is all that I can see." And in french: "Bien avant que tu vois le monde, bien avant cette chanson, il y en a eu des gens blessés comme moi."
Shot in New York City with director Charles Billot (originally from Paris), the video is inspired by foreign films, with subtitles during the English lyrics and English ones during the French. Gabi pines alone in an empty apartment and wanders the downtown streets in an overcoat like a female Jean Paul Belmondo.
Gabi is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Paris, France, whose influences range from Brazilian and African music to Jazz. She studied Philosophy and Politics in Paris and then moved to Rio de Janeiro where she fell in love with Brazilian music, learned to speak Portuguese fluently and performed in local bars. After two years there she moved to London to study ethnomusicology, leading her on musical journeys in South Africa, Guinea and Portugal.
After returning to Paris to study jazz, meanwhile teaching philosophy classes, Gabi became a member of many international music groups, including Triozelas and Orchestra Ewa. Most recently she appears as singer and co-composer of several songs on the debut album by Portuguese/Brazilian collective, Rua das Pretas, and is at work recording her first solo EP in Rio and New York with producer Jesse Harris, featuring her original material, as well as new French versions of his songs.
Hounslow, London based producer + singer Grace Acladna is sharing new single 'Apnea' - which arrives now alongside her new EP 'Phonophobia' - both out today via Hometown Records.
Fusing inspiration from a variety of different sounds and genres including nu-house, soca, electronica and dub - both new single 'Apnea', and the EP from which it's been lifted, represents Grace taking risks, showing a side to her which has often been hidden - and follows a recent appearance with slowthai on the BBC Radio 1Xtra Live Lounge.
'"Phonophobia' is about having the guts to be vulnerable," Grace explains. "Most of the time I’m quiet and reserved, other times I’m loud and obnoxious. Some of these songs are scary for me to share because they show a side of me that I don’t often portray to the outside world…I get embarrassed of those louder, more extreme parts of myself, but from experience, it’s always those parts that people love and appreciate the most."
New single, 'Apnea' is a tantalising examination of female sexual pleasure - written to a backdrop of delicate piano, and atmospheric electronics. Speaking a little more on the track, Grace said: "I think that female sexual pleasure in heterosexual relationships can often take a back seat. The song is seductive but the heart of it is about taking the lead in how one wants to experience sexual pleasure."
Carefully developing her vibrant experimental pop sound since her last release - ’Phonophobia’ - out now via Hometown Records, takes the listener on a journey through the universal themes of love, loss and longing. From the euphoria of the first encounter; the genesis of desire and yearning, the heartbreak of rejection, to the dark abyss of loneliness, sensuously revealed above techno-house-pop rhythms.
New EP 'Phonophobia' is just the start of Grace Acladna's journey. With another body of work already written and recorded - and plenty more on its way - by her own admission, Grace is working harder than she's ever worked before. Based on 'Phonophobia' - the fruits of her labour are already showing.
The word that jumps to mind when hearing Deanna Petcoff’s music for the first time is yearning. Although yearning is a verb, not an adjective, it is the closest thing that can describe the hold her music takes on the listener.
The warmth and texture of her sweeping vocals intertwined with the almost playful blueness of her lyrics fills the listener with a sense of intense longing, and reveals to us a worldview that is full of pain at the loss of love, and full of hope for something more beautiful.
Petcoff grew up worshipping the music of David Bowie, Joan Jett, Lou Reed, and Patti Smith. These musicians, among many others, inspired her to first pick up a guitar and start to play. This fire grew and was fostered by the women at Girl’s Rock Camp Toronto, which she first attended in 2011. It was there she began her musical career, being paired with many mentors and starting her first band, Pins & Needles, a four-piece based in Toronto.
She continued to play with them for 5 years, across Canada, and co-wrote two albums with the group. For Petcoff, this band spanned her high school years and was a chance to grow, play, and experiment, finding her voice among others in the city. In January 2018, Pins & Needles disbanded, leading to the beginning of Petcoff’s solo career, and the creation of her first single, Terribly True, followed shortly by her second single Stress and next up, Stage Lights.
Background - Lilikoy Mananas prepare the release of their debut release ‘Dangerous Calm’ with the release of the dreamlike single “IAMWHATIAM” in September 2017. The track delivers unashamedly pop melodies over dreamy guitar lines and melancholy tones. This is a great introduction to the band’s sound marking the beginning of what promises to be a very prolific year. Lilikoy Mananas have a unique offering in the current Tel Aviv a contemporary musical landscape where they find themselves moving between the claustrophobic feeling of the modern world and a constant search for existential tranquility. Combining the harmonious sound of live instruments with the electronic tools from their studio setting the band is unafraid to explore new sounds and combinations. Songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist and band leader Yonatan Marcus recruited his close friends to collaborate on what would become the debut single “IAMWHATIAM”. The chemistry during those sessions was undeniable and they decided to record a collaborative full length. The resulting debut album “Dangerous Calm”, produced by Rotem Frimer and Yonatan himself, is expected in October 201 7 and showcases a band that isn’t wasting time arguing over the definition of blues, jazz, folk and electronica but rather prefers to operate with all and any tool at their disposal. Facebook here.
The vocals & harmonies are wonderful on 'IAMWHATIAM' whilst the music has something understated and yet pretty special going on. A short & yet quite thrilling introduction to Lilikoy Mananas for me, with hopefully a lot more to follow.
Backgrtound - With only two singles under her belt, Sarah Klang is already an artist who’s made listeners all over the world envy her melancholia. Debut single ”Sleep” was released in 2016 and early 2017 ”Strangers” hit the streaming services – praised by critics and public alike. When she played a homecoming show at the Way Out West festival in Gothenburg earlier the year Sweden’s main newspaper Dagens Nyheter left the venue all stunned. It was agreed among critics - a star was born that night.
Klang's sound is like no-one else and with her voice she encapsulates listeners into her own universe – a universe where you get images of old reel tape recordings in your head. Inspiration is found in old brides dresses, Barbra Streisand, ambient electronica, 80’s dads and plastic flowers.
”Left Me On Fire”, Sarah’s new single, is like previous releases written and produced with long time collaborator Kevin Andersson, but this time around Thom Monahan (Pernice Brothers, Devandra Banhart, Vetiver, Beachwood Sparks etc) handles the mixing process. What comes out of this is a fragile and moving soundscape. It draws you into the core of the storytelling. A great ballad from a great voice.
"Left Me On Fire" is written in the vacuum that you feel after a break-up. You continue your life but you are burned. For me the song is about moving forward with your life, while still in love with the person who broke your heart and nothing will ever be the same from that moment on.”
This fall Sarah will do shows (highlights includes a performance at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg and a headline show in hometown Gothenburg) leading up to the release of debut album ”Love in the Milky Way” early 2018. Facebook here.
We first featured Sarah Klang back in February with 'Strangers' & are really pleased to be able to feature the new song 'Left Me On Fire'. Her vocals ooze feeling and passion, the music is superbly arranged around her melodic voice, adding to the melancholic mood. Put simply, I cannot wait to hear more.
Background - ‘Trapped In The Fog’, Joana Serrat’s new song and lead track from her forthcoming album ‘Dripping Springs’, featuring members of Israel Nash/Midlake. Joana Serrat explains the inspiration behind the track: “Trapped In The Fog is an oneiric song through which I can travel in time, no matter if it’s past or future. I wrote this song one night that I was driving back home after a solo show. Where I live there's a lot of fog in winter and suddenly that very night in the middle of the forest, the road got surrounded by shoals of fog. It was very hard to see and I had to slow down. The haze was constantly taking different shapes, it seemed to dance. It felt like a metaphor for life and I had the feeling something inside the shadows was talking to me." For her fourth album in five years, Joana Serrat travelled from her home in Vic, Barcelona to the Texas Hill Country outside Austin. There she teamed up with Israel Nash at his Plum Creek Sound studio near the town of Dripping Springs. For the recording sessions Nash & Serrat corralled a stellar crew of musicians: Joey & Aaron McClellan, (Midlake, BNQT, John Grant, Israel Nash), Eric Swanson & Josh Fleischmann (Israel Nash), Dave Simonett (Trampled By Turtles) and Dennis Love (Futurebirds), as well as Nash himself providing additional guitar and backing vocals. Israel Nash produced the album, with Ted Young (Grammy award winner for The Rolling Stones) on engineering and mixing duties. It was no mean feat to gather all these creative talents and get them working together as a team, but as Israel Nash commented, “it was very easy to work with Joana because she knows where she wants to go and she leads us all there. Joana’s lyrics are brilliant. She uses images and colours to describe her songs and luckily that's the way we are used to working.” Joey McClellan adds, “her voice was our guide”. The resulting album - which Joana named after the local town - is unsurprisingly Joana Serrat’s most Americana album to date. Mojo described her last album Cross The Verge as “Mazzy Star guesting on an early Neil Young demo”, but with Dripping Springs she has produced a far more rounded and polished piece of work. Serrat explains, “it’s an album that deals with farewells but is filled with an optimistic melancholy that doesn’t isolate nor enclose the spirit and determination to realise our own dreams”. It was a bold move by the young Catalan to cross the Atlantic to work with a bunch of American musicians that she had admired from afar but had never met. What she came away with is, however nothing short of magnificent and should see Serrat building on her existing achievements which have included a BBC 6Music Recommends Track Of The Week selected by Gideon Coe and Lauren Laverne the latter commenting “she’s an amazing artist an astonishing talent and I love her songwriting”. Within the last year Joana has toured with The Jayhawks, The Handsome Family & Courtney Marie Andrews played the main stage at Primavera Sound Festival showcased at SXSW and has been invited to Nashville in September to showcase at AmericanaFest 2017. Pre-order here, Facebook here.
It's been a while since we last featured Joana Serrat, an artist that has consistently impressed me. 'Trapped In The Fog' is our first glimpse of her forthcoming new album & her new musical collaboration is, based on this track, very promising. Vocals as ever are notably refined and the Americana rich music is fabulous.
Background - Sarah Klang is an artist that immediately encapsulates you with her voice, an utterly fascinating universe. Since releasing debut single ”Sleep” last year (a track that quickly made it on to Spotify’s taste maker list Fresh Finds) she’s teamed up with producer Kevin Andersson (Troubled Tracks) in native Gothenburg, Sweden. The first result from this collaboration is ”Strangers” – a beautiful next step for Sarah. - I wrote ”Strangers” during my last days in Gothenburg prior to leaving for Stockholm. It’s about a old relationship that ended. It was hard hanging around in the same town, bump into each other. You know, when you know everything about a person; the dark sides and the bright sides. It’s not so much about missing someone, more about having shared it all and then suddenly act like you don’t know each other. When you listen to ”Strangers” you get images of old reel tape recordings in your head. Inspiration is found in old brides dresses, Barbra Streisand, ambient electronica, 80’s dads and plastic flowers. 2016 saw Sarah hit the road in Sweden – doing both headline shows and opening slot for acts like Matt Corby. Spring 2017 sees her performing at Swedish festivals for the first time in her career, with Where’s The Music in Norrköping and Umeå Open coming up first. Facebook here.
Sarah Klang has a melodic and passionate voice that is accompanied by a gentle soundtrack and choral harmonies on 'Strangers'. There is something of an Americana feel to the song, something Scandinavians seem to produce on a par with artists the other side of the Atlantic.
Background - It is said that a change is as good as a rest, so when it comes to Liverpool quartet Loved One’s re-emergence, coupled with their shift in musical direction, things can only bode well for the swell of new material they are set to release in 2017. Releasing themselves from the lo-fi and ambient rock of their debut album “The Merry Monarch” – having spent much of their recent time involved in soundtrack work - the forthcoming full length “Harness” sets its stall out as a move into an eclectic, but no less focused, sphere of operation. The album’s first single “End Of An Error” offers a first look into what they’ve been working on. With this track we get a sense of the record’s more anxious moments and themes of escapism, which conspire here to erupt into a dilating and expansive chorus. Lead singer Nik Glover comments; “We tried to turn our traditional song structure on its head in End of an Error, piling all the melodies into the verse and letting the chorus speed past with hardly any vocals. It's a song about naive teenage love and regret, and why sometimes ripping up all your memories of a relationship is better than trying to hold on to it.” Facebook here.
'End Of An Error' has a sense of urgency about it. Vocals are anxious to convey their message and the band provide a soundtrack that gives a feeling of being in a hurry. It's a splendid and original piece that as mentioned above, seem to bode well for the 'anxiously' awaited new material.
Background - Trondheim-raised, and now Oslo based Ary (real name Ariadne Loinsworth) has been carefully plotting her career path for the past 12 months or so. Debut single ‘Higher’ was released via prestigious electronic label Eskimo Recordings in 2015 and was quickly A-listed by NRK P3 in Norway. That collaboration with fellow Norwegian producer and artist Carl Louis proved to be a fruitful one, with their follow up effort together, 'Telescope’, following a similar trajectory to the P3 A-list. Following this early success in her home country, new single ‘Childhood Dreams’ stands as an impressive, and exciting step forward - undoubtedly holding the potential to break through to an international audience. Premiered by Julie Adenuga on Beats 1 - lyrically the track deals with Ary’s thoughts on her own development as an artist; how she’s grown as a songwriter and performer. Speaking a little more on the lyrical themes of the new single she said: "The song represents the balance between love, safety and ambition. How I remembered looking back to my childhood dreams, and comparing my expectations to my reality.” In a recent vote to select a top ten “Ones To Watch", a group of 38 Norwegian insiders comprised of taste makers, festival bookers and music journalists were unanimous in their praise; they all agreed Ary is the most promising new artist to come out of Norway this year. Many foresee a bright future for her, and she might just be exactly what this industry needs. Facebook here.
'Childhood Dreams' begins with a minimalist electro pop soundtrack enabling Ary to take full advantage of utilising her delightful vocals. The song builds into a fuller sound, the hooks dig deeper, this is one very catchy number.
Background - South London singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sipprell returns with her new track ‘Trust Issues. Beautifully stripped back and soulful, the track was written and produced by Sipprell herself, with additional production by Maths Times Joy. ‘Trust Issues’ follows the stunning track ‘Journey’, produced by Ragz Originale (Skepta, Dej Loaf, Girli), and ‘Broken Ground’ a collaboration with HW&W Recordings’ Melo-Zed, or Radar Radio DJ Ralph Hardy’s new compilation ‘Growing Pains 2’. ‘Trust Issues’ is Sipprell’s first release of the year, which has already seen her perform at The Roundhouse in London, supporting Little Simz at her ‘Welcome To Wonderland: The Experience’ festival. Since the release of her debut EP ‘Letter D’, Sipprell has garnered radio and press support from the likes of BBC Radio 1Xtra, The Fader, Complex and The 405. Sipprell’s honey textured vocals and honest songwriting continue to enamour taste makers, and see her make waves in 2017 and beyond. Twitter here.
Another artist who can rely on their vocals to deliver both a dreamy and melodic feel, Sipprell also adds a layer of atmosphere on 'Trust Issues', a beautiful and natural acoustic wonder.
Background - The new Terra Lightfoot live album "Live In Concert", is out now on Sonic Unyon. Since the release of her acclaimed album 'Every Time My Mind Runs Wild', the soulful roots rocker has wowed audiences across North America, the UK and Europe, playing hundreds of live dates in venues from cafés to coliseums and everywhere in between. As part of that touring, she collaborated with the National Academy Orchestra of Canada to present those songs in dynamic orchestral arrangements that gave fans an amazing chance to experience the performer’s talent, charm and emotional power as never before. Those collaborations were staged for two intimate hour-long shows on one memorable night at McMaster University’s LIVELab, joined by special guest John-Angus MacDonald of The Trews. The entire set was recorded and is now seeing release as Live In Concert — a special Valentine from the artist to her fans. Only a handful were able to watch first-hand as Lightfoot and the NAO revisited the sweeping orchestral treatment of songs off her sensational sophomore album. Live In Concert is a fresh chance to discover the remarkable talent that critics have been buzzing about. Website here, Facebook here.
I do wish more artists would release original live material or as the case is here, develop their music further with the National Academy Orchestra of Canada. It gives the featured song 'Lily's Fair' a fresh and imaginative direction. Looking forward to hearing the whole concert.
