Rev Rev Rev - Adrift In The Chaosmos.
Rev Rev Rev have been invited to play renowned showcase festival Eurosonic in Groningen, where they're going to perform on Wednesday, 15th January, at All Round Poolcentrum. On the verge of a new adventure in the Netherlands it seemed just right to release a DIY video they shot during the band's trip to Left of the Dial, Rotterdam in 2018.
'Adrift in the chaosmos', excerpt from new album 'Kykeon' (out now on Fuzz Club), is one of the most shoegazey, blurry tracks; but it also features cosmic wanderings and an odd spaghetti-western riff.
Since the release of their self-titled debut album back in 2013, Rev Rev Rev – based in Modena, Italy – have repeatedly been hailed as one of the finest new shoegaze bands, clocking up airtime and praise from BBC 6 Music, NPR, Drowned In Sound, Clash Magazine and Bandcamp Daily.

Palm Ghosts - Wide Awake And Waiting.
Palm Ghosts is a dream pop / post punk band based in Nashville TN led by songwriter and producer Joseph Lekkas. Taking cues from such bands as Cocteau Twins, Peter Gabriel, Echo and The Bunnymen, New Order, early U2 and The Cure, Palm Ghosts takes the sounds of early 80s alternative music and brings it into the new millennium.
Palm Ghosts self-released three records before signing with Australian label, Golden Robot Records, in May of 2019. Their self-titled debut is a tapestry of lo-fi folk and indie pop 88.5 WXPN in Philadelphia called “Elegant and Sweeping Pop”.
Greenland, Palm Ghosts’ second record, consists of songs that walk the line of electronic, indie and Americana music Atwood magazine called “A stirring mix of folk writing with electronica-tinged production…Electronically magnetic and emotionally heartfelt.” In May of 2017 Palm Ghosts found their sound with the release of Architecture, a critically lauded collection of cinematic dream pop songs.

Bedroom - Gulf.
Bedroom is the work of singer-songwriter & producer Noah Kittinger. Beginning as a recording project when Kittinger was just 16, his releases under the moniker are characterized by honest songwriting coupled with catchy hooks, beautiful melodic sensibility, and a memorable homemade sound.
Kittinger began a steady stream of releases in 2012 with the Toys EP. Vivid, a mixtape featuring rough ideas and works in progress, followed later that year. These early works garnered praise from several media outlets and began the growth of a dedicated fanbase.
Bedroom’s first full-length LP, Grow, was made during a time of transition in Kittinger’s life. Written and recorded at the age of 17, and released in 2014 when Kittinger turned 18. The album cataloged Kittinger’s experiences with his own growth into adulthood. After the release of Grow, Kittinger took the project on the road, embarking on his first DIY tour.
After returning from the tour, and a year after the release of Grow, Bedroom went on hiatus as Kittinger took a step back from the project. He remained busy, working on new songs under his own name and released an EP, Bloom. Bloom showed growth from Kittinger’s earlier work with Bedroom, exploring electronic influences with samples and new production techniques.
In 2018 Kittinger continued to tour, playing songs from Bedroom and Bloom, packing out venues with new and old fans on his first West Coast tour. In early 2019, Kittinger officially announced the return of Bedroom and promised new music from the project in 2019. In May of 2019, Kittinger released “Count to Five” – the first we’ve heard of the project since the summer of 2015. A step into a different direction with newfound collaborator Paul Kintzing.

Agnes Obel - Broken Sleep.
“This song was, surprisingly enough, written in a period where I was struggling with falling asleep. In the effort to find a cure I began to read about the science of sleep as well as the cultural history of sleep which led me to the ancient idea that sleep and death are familiar states and problems with sleep are linked to a fear of death. Relics of this idea are still to be found in our language today, in the way we describe both death and sleep.” –Agnes Obel
For almost a decade, Agnes Obel has been one of the most independent and original artists in contemporary music. Now she has returned with new music, releasing another enchanting single “Broken Sleep” ahead of her highly-anticipated new album Myopia, which will be released February 21 through Blue Note Records in North America, and Deutsche Grammophon in the rest of the world.
“For me Myopia is an album about trust and doubt. Can you trust yourself or not? Can you trust your own judgments? Can you trust that you will do the right thing? Can you trust your instincts and what you are feeling? Or are your feelings skewed?”
Following the same principles as with her previous albums (Philharmonics, Aventine and Citizen Of Glass), which she completed as a one-woman project in her own Berlin home studio, Obel has been under self-imposed creative isolation with the removal of all outside influences and distraction in the writing, recording and mixing process. “The albums I’ve worked on have all required that I build a bubble of some kind in which everything becomes about the album.”
“For me the production is intertwined with the lyrics and story behind the songs,” says Obel. This is precisely what makes her music so compelling and the same is true with Myopia. “Paradoxically, for me I need to create my own myopia to make music.” Obel was experimenting with techniques of recording processing, warping and pitching down vocals, strings, piano, celesta and luthéal piano, finding ways to melt these elements together to become one and twisting them in a way that you feel at home within the sound she conjures throughout the record.
The official music video to accompany “Broken Sleep” is also released today. Created by long-term collaborator and partner Alex Brüel Flagstad, the video accompanies the themes within the album perfectly and continuously follows on from the “Island Of Doom” video, which was released in October 2019.

Anna Rose - Broken Is Beautiful.
New York-based singer, songwriter, and musician, Anna Rose, releases the official music video for “Broken Is Beautiful," a highlight track from her critically acclaimed new album The Light Between (produced by GRAMMY-nominated Paul Moak).
“Broken Is Beautiful” encapsulates what makes Rose such a heartfelt performer: intimate lyrics, fierce vocal delivery, and authentic, soulful melodies.
“Broken Is Beautiful" was directed by Rose’s longtime friend and long time collaborator Shruti Ganguly. This is the third video the two have collaborated on together and it is certainly the most personal. “The lyrics of 'Broken Is Beautiful' dig into the notion of how our accumulated pain/challenges ultimately make us who we are - and there is some reconciliation because of it," says Ganguly. "For the concept, I wanted to work with Anna and the women in her family. It was a joy to work with her sister Nora, and mostly, her incredible mother who had been a professional dancer but hadn’t performed in decades."
"The video for 'Broken Is Beautiful' is very special to me because it features two of the most important women in my life - my mom and sister," states Rose. "To have them be a part of telling this story and to film it in a place that holds so many memories feels incredibly cathartic. As women, I think we often fight these silent battles within ourselves: the magic we inherently possess that drives us towards our passions versus the societal markers that we are held up against. Nada Surf - So Much Love.
Nada Surf has Australia deep in their thoughts as they release their new single this week. 'So Much Love' is the uplifting latest taste of the venerable NYC indie icons' long-awaited ninth album Never Not Together (arriving via Barsuk / City Slang on February 7).
It's music the world needs right now - the concept threaded throughout the album is about how we're connected, no matter where we're from or who we are. By extension and like the record as a whole, the opener and consummate Nada Surf single "So Much Love" swiftly seeps in as an uplifting anthem of sorts, overflowing with all the the things that make the band great - it's positive, and full of kindness and hopefulness.
Frontman Matthew Caws explains: "It's a song that celebrates good will between people. Sometimes it can be hard to remember that it's there. but it's all around us. Small things add up. a little tolerance and acceptance can be built on. we're good at love and being kind. it comes naturally to us, but so do other things. You just have to keep looking for the right way to lean, it's worth everything."
Never Not Together is the band's first album in four years and was heralded last November by the crashing new single, “Something I Should Do”. Brooklyn Vegan enthused: "As you’d probably expect from this consistently reliable band - catchy and instantly likable."
Entirely different and something of an access point into their music for the uninitated, the stunning and anthemic slow-burn “Looking For You” followed in December, joined by a unique animated video filmed by the members of the band themselves.

Weird Milk have a new release entitled 'Honey, I'm Around' and it's a fabulous and refreshingly unpretentious pop song with gorgeous vocals and harmonies.
'Gold Day' from Hunting is a gently paced indie rock song flowing with melodic hooks and a cool laid back feel.
We have already featured Anna Rose a couple of times this year and the new video for 'Sucker Puncher' is clever and a fine companion for a determined rocker of a song.
In session at the Tapetown Studio's we have Bull and their song 'Eugene' that was first released in May. It's a fine version, the band clearly comfortable in this live setting and giving the piece plenty of natural character.
Ana Egge returns for a third time on Beehive Candy with a music video for her new single 'Hurt A Little', a beautiful song where the musical backdrop is restrained and her melodic vocals are very much centre stage.

Weird Milk - Honey, I'm Around.
North London’s Weird Milk continue their impressive ascent with soothing new release Honey, I’m Around, once more channelling the influences of The Beach Boys, The Strokes and Rex Orange County to perfection in their own eccentric style.
With high praise following the release of previous single Anything You Want, buzzing across the BBC Radio 1/6 Music airwaves (Annie Mac, Jack Saunders, Steve Lamacq) and throughout the tastemaker community (NME, The Line Of Best Fit, So Young), the baroque pop quartet’s status amongst the emerging indie elite continues to grow significantly.
Discussing their upcoming summery release, the band explained: “This song touches on themes of romance and escapism, whilst cherishing the notion that sometimes it is important to be patient and persistent in one’s endeavours, without lingering in the past”.
Having already chalked off supports alongside the likes of Frank Carter, Pip Blom, Thyla and Lazy Day, the four-piece will be headlining London’s Camden Assembly next month before heading out on tour alongside Trudy and the Romance in the autumn, with further live plans afoot.

Hunting - Gold Day.
Hunting is barely recognizable as the same band that released a debut album five years ago: it’s gone from a solo project to a trio, from folk to catchy electro-rock, and from wistful melancholy to buoyant exuberance. All this can be heard on the group’s sophomore album, Whatever You Need, due out in summer 2019 via Nevado Music.
Songwriter-producer Bradley Ferguson initially intended the album as a quick follow-up to 2014’s rootsy Hunting LP, but the initial sessions stalled. Instead, Bradley put Hunting on the back burner: he produced an electro-pop LP for Vancouver vocalist Jessicka, and acted as a bassist-for-hire in an array of projects.
Hunting eventually got back on track with the addition of two new members: Jessicka came on board as a full-time backing vocalist, while songwriter Dustin Bentall joined as a co-frontman. “We went back and started the album from scratch,” Bradley remembers. “We decided to approach it in a more organic way. I had been editing it to pop perfection — but then we breathed new life into it and it came together really quickly.”
Dustin Bentall is a well-travelled troubadour in his own right, and he contributed five of his own songs to the recording sessions at Afterlife Studios. Dustin says, “I had this batch of songs that weren’t really going to fit my next record, and I realized they worked seamlessly with Hunting.”
Bradley and Dustin’s songs mesh perfectly on Whatever You Need, tied together by pillowy vintage synth pads and surging rock rhythms. Returning collaborator John Raham (Destroyer) acted as engineer as well as drummer, Paul Rigby (Neko Case) added additional guitars, and Mother Mother’s Ryan Guldemond co-wrote a handful of tracks.
Opener “Scenes from TV Screens” begins the album with muted ‘80s guitars and sly, slinky pop hooks, while “Black Shirt” cranks the distortion with heavy rock riffs, and “Better With Time” is streaked with twinkling synth orchestrations — the result of Bradley’s fondness for spending hours perfecting a single sound. A swooning cover of Sparklehorse’s “Gold Day” is the lone holdover from Hunting’s scrapped prior sessions, acting as a link between Hunting’s early days and their current iteration.
The album’s tone is one of joyful, sonic exploration, marking a big departure from the lonesome folk Hunting used to be known for. “I loved making that first album, but I’m not quite as melancholy as I was back then,” Bradley acknowledges. “I’m a lot more content and life is a lot more solid. I’m not constantly wandering around by myself after some terrible heartbreak.”
That contentment shines on Whatever You Need. With electrifying collaborative chemistry between friends and an anything-goes approach to catchy synth-rock, Hunting has been reborn.

The video for “Sucker Puncher” was directed by Rose’s longtime friend, Émilie Richard-Froozan, who directed Suki Waterhouse's "Valentine,” as well as Hurray For The Riff Raff's "I Know It's Wrong (But That's Alright),” which won Offbeat Magazine’s 2015 Best Music Video of The Year. Froozan’s first feature film, Buttercup Bill, premiered at the Marfa Film Festival.
“Émilie and I grew up together, dancing our asses off to any hit song we could get our hands on, singing at the top of our lungs,” remembers Rose. “We wanted to make a video that felt like that. We’d go on road trips, get lost and make videos, so this was really just an excuse for us to do what we’ve always done for the love of a song."
Filmed in Desert Hot Springs, California, the engaging music video features dancer Dean Elex Bais & a sweeping desert road.
"It is a song for all of the underdogs out there," describes Rose. "For me personally, the struggle to be heard in an industry where a songwriter’s work is so undervalued has almost crippled me at times, but writing this song with Justin Glasco felt like a triumph. Truthfully, this whole upcoming record is brutally honest in a lyrical sense and this song felt incredibly cathartic in its writing and production. It’s a testament to the fight I have inside me. I’ve never been quiet, I’ve always been rebellious, I have never cowered to the industry standard and I do not apologize for that."

Bull - Eugene (Tapetown Sessions).
We have a freshly released Tapetown Sessions video featuring York's four-piece Bull. The band got to present their track “Eugene” in a completely different setting during their Tapetown performance:
In the session, the song - written a couple years back and made available on streaming platforms in May 2019 - left some of its ambience layering and sound effects behind, which were all beautifully substituted by even deeper, raw elements and live instruments that Tapetown Studio is well known for.
Undoubtedly, the unique studio facility helped the act highlight their live energy in the best way possible, and the effect of that is this stunning live session that celebrates their union - an ambitious band with one of their best compositions on one side, and on the other, a specialised studio facility filled with knowledge, passion and love for alternative and edgy sounds.

Ana Egge - Hurt a Little.
Ana Egge has shared the music video for her new single "Hurt A Little", the second off her upcoming album Is It The Kiss, out September 6 via StorySound Records.
"When you fall for someone, that doesn’t mean that it’s a one-time choice to be with them. Every day you wake up and choose," said the Brooklyn singer-songwriter of the new track which features Buck Meek of Big Thief on electric guitar.
“'Hurt A Little' catches Egge in a vulnerable state, reminiscing over past relationships and laughing at the inevitability of romantic pain," stated American Songwriter. "A soft snare beat propels the song forward as Egge encourages others to power through the pain with her hard-earned relationship wisdom. Meek adds subtle flourishes of rock and pop with his electric guitar."
Is It the Kiss, Ana Egge’s eleventh album, has nine originals along with one cover, all featuring her singularly soulful singing and songwriting which Steve Earle (producer of Egge's Bad Blood) has said sounds “like she’s telling us her deepest, darkest secrets.”
The country side of things is well-represented by pedal steel (Matt Davidson of Twain) and fiddle (Alex Hargreaves) on songs such as the lead single “Cocaine Cowboys” (also featuring Buck Meek on electric guitar), and her affecting duet with Iris DeMent on their cover of Diana Jones’ “Ballad of the Poor Child.”
But despite its traditional roots, Is It The Kiss is something of a soul record as well. The tracks are grounded by the Brooklyn indie-all-star rhythm section of Jacob Silver and Robin MacMillan, the slow grooves are sweetened by horns like molasses (Cole Kamen-Green and Adam Dotson), and at the center of it all is Ana’s guitar, that sounds like it knows something about how Steve Cropper and Curtis Mayfield could delicately, but determinedly, provide a sweetly-beating funky heart. Along with providing the wind and brass arrangements throughout the album, the whole is put togther by multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer Alec Spiegelman (Cuddle Magic). Is It The Kiss serves as the follow up to last year's White Tiger, released to wide spread acclaim.

Bull - Eugene (Tapetown Sessions).
We have a freshly released Tapetown Sessions video featuring York's four-piece Bull. The band got to present their track “Eugene” in a completely different setting during their Tapetown performance:
In the session, the song - written a couple years back and made available on streaming platforms in May 2019 - left some of its ambience layering and sound effects behind, which were all beautifully substituted by even deeper, raw elements and live instruments that Tapetown Studio is well known for.
Undoubtedly, the unique studio facility helped the act highlight their live energy in the best way possible, and the effect of that is this stunning live session that celebrates their union - an ambitious band with one of their best compositions on one side, and on the other, a specialised studio facility filled with knowledge, passion and love for alternative and edgy sounds.

Ana Egge - Hurt a Little.
Ana Egge has shared the music video for her new single "Hurt A Little", the second off her upcoming album Is It The Kiss, out September 6 via StorySound Records.
"When you fall for someone, that doesn’t mean that it’s a one-time choice to be with them. Every day you wake up and choose," said the Brooklyn singer-songwriter of the new track which features Buck Meek of Big Thief on electric guitar.
“'Hurt A Little' catches Egge in a vulnerable state, reminiscing over past relationships and laughing at the inevitability of romantic pain," stated American Songwriter. "A soft snare beat propels the song forward as Egge encourages others to power through the pain with her hard-earned relationship wisdom. Meek adds subtle flourishes of rock and pop with his electric guitar."
Is It the Kiss, Ana Egge’s eleventh album, has nine originals along with one cover, all featuring her singularly soulful singing and songwriting which Steve Earle (producer of Egge's Bad Blood) has said sounds “like she’s telling us her deepest, darkest secrets.”
The country side of things is well-represented by pedal steel (Matt Davidson of Twain) and fiddle (Alex Hargreaves) on songs such as the lead single “Cocaine Cowboys” (also featuring Buck Meek on electric guitar), and her affecting duet with Iris DeMent on their cover of Diana Jones’ “Ballad of the Poor Child.”
But despite its traditional roots, Is It The Kiss is something of a soul record as well. The tracks are grounded by the Brooklyn indie-all-star rhythm section of Jacob Silver and Robin MacMillan, the slow grooves are sweetened by horns like molasses (Cole Kamen-Green and Adam Dotson), and at the center of it all is Ana’s guitar, that sounds like it knows something about how Steve Cropper and Curtis Mayfield could delicately, but determinedly, provide a sweetly-beating funky heart. Along with providing the wind and brass arrangements throughout the album, the whole is put togther by multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer Alec Spiegelman (Cuddle Magic). Is It The Kiss serves as the follow up to last year's White Tiger, released to wide spread acclaim.

From Victoria BC we have Bridal Party with 'Too Much' an art pop song that is full of melodic hooks, I like the notion that the band are keen to make pop music that they like, with songs like this that seem quite credible.
Finally from Athens GA we have a foot stomping song from Georgia Dish Boys titled 'Put My Records On', it is just so likable as it builds real anticipation for their July 9th forth album release.

Last year Rebecca Rego & The Trainmen recorded their third full-length record Speaking of Witches at Bon Iver’s April Base studios in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with producer Beau Sorenson. This is their second album with Sorenson, who is based at Tiny Telephone Studio in San Francisco. Sorensen has previously worked with Bob Mould, tune-yards and Thao and The Get Down Stay Down.
Speaking of Witches follows the 2014 debut Tolono, which the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel called "an album worth celebrating, from Rego's smart, attentive songwriting to her earthy and appealing Edie Brickell-like voice” and 2016’s Lay These Weapons Down, for which Smile Politely wrote "Lay These Weapons Down demonstrates impressive range, convincingly spanning several genres. All the while, the album remains cohesive and congruent. An excellent album, it's all there, composed and performed expertly."

Imperial Daze - Surfaces Sensibles (E.P).
London psych-pop band Imperial Daze have just released their new EP ‘Surfaces Sensibles' via Tip Top Recordings. It follows the release of their debut ‘Solid Fair EP’, which was produced by Rupert Jarvis from The Maccabees and recorded in their studio.
The new EP was co-produced by the band and Rupert Jarvis and was recorded between The Drugstore (The Maccabees studio) and their own studio. A studio they spent most of 2018 building themselves, thanks to a successful crowd-funding campaign and to landing the gig of scoring a big advertising campaign. Built from scratch in a disused giant commercial freezer under a railway arch near Tower Bridge in London, it is now called The Electric Eel Recording Studio, due to the fact that the space was previously used to store eels.
Having shared stages with Mystery Jets, All We Are, The Maccabees, and Matt Maltese, Imperial Daze play a headline London show at The Victoria at the end of the month, with more dates to be announced soon. (Tuesday 25.06 at The Victoria, London).

Anna Rose - The Chariot.
Ahead of her highly anticipated full-length album due later this year and appearance at Nashville's CMA Fest this week, fast-rising singer and musician, Anna Rose, has released a potent new song featuring her unique style of hard-hitting, soulful Americana. Produced by Paul Moak, the deeply honest and soulful track, "The Chariot," is available everywhere now.
"'The Chariot' is a really special song for me," says Rose. "I wrote it with Elizabeth Elkins in Nashville just a few days after one of our musical heroes passed on. Writing through the grief was an incredibly cathartic way to honor this person who had given us both so much inspiration."
The album, written and recorded in Nashville, is Rose's third and follows her praised 2016 EP Strays In The Cut. Two previous singles "Nobody Knows I'm Here," first heard in the NBC hit This Is Us, and "Sucker Puncher" were released earlier this year via White Pony/AWAL.
As a touring artist, Rose has always been a bit of a nomad, believing that home is where the heart is. For this record, home was in Nashville. "Throughout a time of deep turmoil and sadness, I found myself in Nashville a lot, writing not just for myself but for other artists and for film and television. That city slowly began to really feel like home. Working there, making art there… really helped me heal a lot of the wounds that I had collected along the way in my life,” shares Rose. “I’m eternally grateful to the city of Nashville for opening their arms to me. As a bit of an outsider, it gave me a place where I felt like I belonged for the first time really…ever."
“When I sat down with Paul for the first time, I knew something special was happening in the room. He understood not only who I am as an artist but also what I want to accomplish with my music. I am so proud of what came out from us working together.”

Victoria, BC art-pop quintet Bridal Party have always had the goal of making pop music they like. Now with the approaching release of debut full-length Too Much (due August 23rd on Kingfisher Bluez) the band find themselves at a critical moment: as songwriters and collaborators presenting their personal vision.
Principal lyricists Suzannah Raudaschl and Joseph Leroux formed Bridal Party with bassist and producer Lee Gauthier and drummer Adrian Heim in 2015. Jordan Clairmont joined on keys in 2017. Their initial EP release Hot Daze (2015) found chart success on college radio and some modest but promising support through placement on Bandcamp Weekly. Their second EP, Negative Space (2017) charted well and lead to six-figure streams of lead single Fruitless on Spotify. Beatroute (BC) magazine describes Bridal Party as “a perfect marriage of indie pop and soul.”
The band recorded Too Much over three separate week-long immersive studio visits in 2017 and 2018. This disparate recording process would ultimately undo and reform everything the band knew about their sound. A playful and unflinching lyrical voice was honed, drawing on themes of care and self-love as well as their sombre opposites. Each players’ particular handle on their instrument resonates without tuning out the chemistry of influence the members enjoy with one another.
The resultant record is a vibrant collection of songs of uncanny intimacy, thriving from experimentation in studio that remains honest to the band’s live set. Whether it’s the confessional lyricism and feathery textures of “When I’m Naked”, the plaintive riddle and bedlam of “Armour”, or the celebratory disco of the title track, Too Much shines a light on the band’s interior joys and terrors in equal measure.
A broad sonic landscape that shares territory with Crumb, U.S. Girls, and early work of The Cardigans, Too Much is due Friday, August 23rd, accompanied by a relentless tour schedule.

Georgia Dish Boys - Put My Records On.
'Good Country Livin,' the fourth album from Athens, GA based Georgia Dish Boys is as much a description of the album as it is a way of life. The songs feel effortless at first, but below the surface are illustrations on the complexities of love in its various forms. Songwriters Seth Martin, and more recently, Olivia Anderson, contribute visceral takes on the subject.
The songs embody small town Georgia life with “Meme,” a tribute to Martin’s 88 year old grandmother. In “What If,” Martin assures the listener that no matter what “I’d still love ya.” The title track, “Good Country Livin,” is an honest reflection of a dysfunctional family where Martin and Anderson admit “half of us are drunk and the rest of us are in pain.”
Songs like “I Can’t Act (Like I Don’t Feel Good),” “Ain’t Losing Time,” and “Put My Records On” work as both geography and feeling, reminiscent of mid-‘70s Neil Young covering Gram Parsons between takes at a Stars & Bars barn session.
The album is a notable contrast from their previous release, ‘Nine Song Movie,’ though Martin’s voice and Rob Hibbs’ guitar are still sharp as ever. 'Good Country Livin’ pours authenticity while showcasing vast creative growth from a group that just wants us all to “be ourselves and do the best we can.” Look for 'Good Country Livin’ on July 9, 2019.

Run Coyote - The Chase.
Here lies the fatal affairs of late night lovers, the adventures of downtown cowboys, and the chase and foil of private eyes. “The Chase” is one of our favourite songs to play live.
It features the antihero of our forthcoming new album, In Shadowlands. Feeling betrayed, she tries to take justice into her own hands and is pursued by a private eye across city and desert, under the night sky.
In Shadowlands is the marriage of our love for Film Noir and Spaghetti Westerns through late night rock'n'roll songs. “The Chase” is a perfect representation of that. In Shadowlands arrives April 26 on So Sorry Records - Run Coyote.

A spectacular newcomer, living in the world between acoustic folk traditions and the bruised indie of PJ Harvey and Cat Power, Flora Hibberd’s debut single 'The Absentee' is a swelling sea of emotion.
Born in East London but currently residing in Paris, Flora Hibberd has been described as ‘intelligent and measured…there is a profound intuition in her work’ and her songs as ‘deeply rooted in the timeless lyricism of Dylan and Cohen.’ With influences as diverse as Nick Cave, Joan Baez and Jacques Brel, she moves effortlessly between acoustic folk traditions and the bruised indie of PJ Harvey, Jason Molina and Cat Power.
Her powerfully emotive voice, evocative melodies and poetic lyrics combine beautifully to give her songs a deeply haunting and unforgettable quality. Her debut single ‘The Absentee’, produced by J. C. Wright, was just released by ClearLight Records / Declared Goods, followed in April with her debut EP release.

Run Coyote - The Chase.
Here lies the fatal affairs of late night lovers, the adventures of downtown cowboys, and the chase and foil of private eyes. “The Chase” is one of our favourite songs to play live.
It features the antihero of our forthcoming new album, In Shadowlands. Feeling betrayed, she tries to take justice into her own hands and is pursued by a private eye across city and desert, under the night sky.
In Shadowlands is the marriage of our love for Film Noir and Spaghetti Westerns through late night rock'n'roll songs. “The Chase” is a perfect representation of that. In Shadowlands arrives April 26 on So Sorry Records - Run Coyote.
